Andersen is a New York-based indie rock band with a style driven by individual sound, each member having their own eclectic set of inspirations that push and pull the music in different directions.
Who is Andersen?
Who are these guys??
Jackson (vocalist/songwriter) was in a band with Jonah (keys/trumpet) and Evan (guitar) a couple years back. While on tour with this band, they tossed around the idea of starting a different kind of project. What would it be like?
They had no idea.
Time passed, and the idea was thrown around even more. THEN THEY HAD IT! They wanted to start a rock band. But with who? Of course, with none other than some great friends they made throughout their time in school! Josh, a classical percussionist that happened to also play bass virtuosically, was the first pick for the band. Stone was the next up. One phone call with our great drummer opened up many sonic possibilities:
"wanna be in a rock band?"
"sure."
Last but not least, the amazing Eva on vocals. The band was missing something... but Eva swooped in to save the day. After a couple shows and lots of writing, Andersen became so much more than just a rock band. We decided it was time to get these songs on recording; it was time to share our music!
After a year in the making... Andersen went to the studio...
